A BIG thank you to Leah Blankendaal, our guest conductor, who laboured under hot lights in front of a green screen last Saturday to 'conduct' the Choir. She performed this task many times. Four individual singer practise videos were taken, one for each SATB part. Another three videos were taken for the final HD video of the Choir's collective performance 'at' our virtual venue, planned to be the forecourt of the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre. The image (top left) shows a frame from one of the singer practise videos, superimposed over a photo of the forecourt (shot by WVB just before dawn).
Singer practise material will now be progressively published on our website over the last week of February, in time for our singers' practise and performance during the first two weeks of March.

Firstly, Leah's interpretation of Tim's arrangement is already published in the form of sheet music and audio track. These will be followed by video animations of the sheet music with audio for each part.
Secondly, general instructions on what to do and how to do it will be published. Finally, videos of Leah conducting each part, combined with relevant sheet music and audio, plus voice-over instructions to singers will be published.
Love and live
