Launching Wonderful Life! Movie on Sun 19th Oct

Production of Wonderful Life!, the movie, was achieved three days before scheduled to be screened at the National Arts&Edges conference on Sunday 19th Oct in Kalgoolie.

We invite you to take part in this launch by viewing the movie on the Internet as conference delegates witness the launch in the main auditorium, commencing at 11:45 a.m.  AWST (UTC+8hrs).

A pre-prepared introduction for the launch says it all:

"The song you're about to experience is the work of over 250 enthusiastic singers and instrumentalists who were invited to perform the piece from anywhere in the world. Input ranged from individuals performing in front of a webcam at home or school to the combined voices of massed choirs performing on stage at a major Regional concert.

With the support of sponsors, particularly Lotterywest and VoiceMoves, this community health project was conceived and conducted by Each Living Moment, a not for profit organisation. ELM, as it is known, was founded in 2012 by two creative neighbours who share both a common interest and challenge, namely; verse and rhyme and living with Parkinson's. They individually make the most of each moment of life by choosing to adopt positive beliefs and attitudes. Their objective for ELM is to encourage others to do likewise - by singing uplifting songs - wherever they may live.

The verse and chorus lines of Wonderful Life! reflect the level of joy and freedom experienced during childhood by those of similar vintage to the founders of ELM. In the song's bridge, the authors promote the on-going essential need for self-directed play in child development.

As you experience this screening today, the ELM team back in South Yunderup will be simultaneously uploading the movie to the Internet, making this a worldwide launch event (spread the word to share this viewing experience with family and friends).
