For this main event the music is easier to sing, the process in more streamlined and there's an option for everyone. As it was for the showcase movie, you can submit a video of your individual performance or, this time, take up the new option of huddling with as many as four of your friends to make the recording experience so much more rewarding and full of fun. The maximum number of singers able to sing in an ELMvc event has now been capped at 100.

After viewing Eric Whitacre's latest production, involving over 8000 singers, the penny dropped for me. The larger the number of singers, the more difficult it is to adequately feature all singers (impossible with over 8000!) http://ericwhitacre.com/the-virtual-choir. For ELMvc from here on - small is beautiful.
