 I'm very pleased to announce that the Churchlands Choral Society (CCS) committee have unanimously endorsed an approach made by ELMvc to collaborate. In the first instance, they will assist with the development of procedures and tools, involved in the operation of a virtual choir, by field trialling ELMvc's initial song, Each Moment.

 Dance for PD® is an international dance program, based in Brooklyn, NY, USA. The program is for people with Parkinson’s disease who are empowered to explore movement and music aimed at improving their well-being.
ELMvc and 'Dance for PD' are exploring opportunities to integrate projects where mutual benefits of doing so are identified. (see Affiliates page).  Roger and I had a great working session last Wednesday with Tim Cunniffe, our arranger. Tim came over to W.A. from Sydney to provide piano accompaniment to songs he arranged for the show 'Christmas with the Andrew Sisters', which was performed brilliantly at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre the day before.
A second working session is planned for this week, to review the draft arrangement and fine tune it. Tim will then polish and finalise the arrangement, on schedule for the end of December. During January, we will be recording voices for the SATB parts as a precursor to preparing practise materials and as a means of showcasing the upcoming gig (Volunteer singers needed!) |
