The ‘Wonderful Life!’ song was written by the co-founders of ELM - Walter Bennett and Roger Palmer. It delivers a strong message about the importance of affording our children sufficient liberty to gain life-experience through self-directed play during their early years – essential if they are to develop into resilient adults. Experience cannot be taught to children, nor can it be bought for them.

Over-protecting our children in a world of ever-increasing complexity, pace, regulation and perceived danger can, ironically, expose them to a greater risk of future physical and mental disorder.
‘Wonderful Life!’ is a collaborative ‘virtual choir’ project that is to culminate at the Summit with the screening of a music movie in which participating delegates, together with singers from around the World, unite to perform an uplifting original song. This inclusive community development project, requiring no fee or singing audition, will be facilitated by Each Living Moment (ELM), during the August/September lead-up to the Arts&Edges Summit.
The story line of ‘Wonderful Life!’ relates to Roger's recollection of his childhood, which will no doubt resonate with many of the delegates attending the Arts&Edges Summit. These memories are woven into a dreamy melody line and powerful bridge composed by Walter. The music was arranged by the prominent Sydney based musician, Tim Cunniffe.
Singers are invited to collaborate in this exciting project NOW as an on-line community of singers, wherever they may be, by singing into a webcam, tablet, smart-phone or equivalent.
