This initiative will not be a 'one hit wonder'. The establishment project will deliver the initial concert of the ELM Virtual Choir and, in parallel, put in place a not-for-profit organisation. The legal structure of this entity is a matter for the project team to determine but it is most likely to be based on a not-for-profit organisation model. Responsibility for the ELM Virtual Choir will be handed over from the project team to the executive of the not-for-profit organisation entity at the conclusion of the project.

- Eliciting new original choral works from contributing composers, lyricists and arrangers.
- Panel review of submissions.
- Planning and operating an on-going program of concert performances.
- Developing an income stream (e.g. sponsors, donors, affiliation reference fees, grants, music arranging services)
