FOR RECORDING ONLY!

The videos in this set should generally only be used for video recording purposes. When practicing your part you will, most likely, find the appropriate computer generated audio file for your part to be most helpful. You will need to be practiced enough to hold your part without listening to your part being played through the headphones. Once you have practiced enough to learn your part, using the computer generated audio resources, it is time to video record your performance. When recording, watch and follow the videos below. U
nder NO circumstances, should you use the computer generated audio files used for practice, as these are not synchronised with the Eric's DVD master-track.

Picture
To each video in this set, we have superimposed and animated music score notation for you to follow.  The animation has been approximately timed, so that you may concentrate on the music notation flowing past the blue 'Tempo Line', which is located left of screen centre. As the notation is documented in one very wide page, this technique eliminates the need to turn pages.

If you are game, you may wish to improvise a little during the optional four bar introduction and between verses.

Video for instrumentalists:
If you play an instrument other than piano and oboe, try playing another instrument that is compatible with the clef and range.

Shelter - Eric Bogle - Piano/Oboe - by Sight from Walter Bennett on Vimeo.

Videos for vocalists:
SATB Score
For Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass singers.

Melody Score
For those wanting to play or sing the melody line (not you Sopranos!) to see how you go performing a solo, this video is for you!  The superimposed music notation of the melody is in three different clefs, Treble Clef, Octave Clef and Bass Clef. Take you pick!
(under construction - low priority, as melody singers should be able to 'wing it' once they have practiced using the music notation and audio resources)
