2014 Proms 'Wonderful Life!' Practice Music:
ELM has contributed one of the songs chosen to be performed by the massed voices of participating regional choirs during the finale of the 2014 Mandurah Proms. ELM's contribution is a new composition called 'Wonderful Life!'. A wide range of practice resources has been provided on this page for singers to use online or download onto computers, mp3 players, smart phones, tablets etc. (see below). Select and use the resources that best suit your technology and level of experience and preferences. The resources provided are:
- Print files
The standard fare. Sheet music as photocopied and distributed to each participating choir. - Full music score
- Vocals only
- Audio files
Useful to listen to during private practice, whilst reading the paper sheet music (Note: all audio files have click tracks to aid with timing). - All tracks (i.e. Flute, Soprano/Alto, Tenor/Bass, Piano)
- Soprano/Alto track amplified (instruments at normal volume and Tenor/Bass subdued)
- Tenor/Bass track amplified (instruments at normal volume and Soprano/Alto subdued)
- Video files
Very useful to listen to and watch during private practice (i.e. an animated score that has it all, full score including lyrics plus audio) - Audio tracks as per above.
- Video with each track shows a green 'current time indicator line' sweeping across the music score to show singers where it is on the score they should be looking and singing.
